Betta Brawler
Betta fish don't share a tank. That's the whole premise.
Eight siamese fighting fish settle it the old-fashioned way — flared gills, torn fins, and a spinning tail through the jaw.
Every fighter is a real betta variety drawn to its actual anatomy: Buster the plakat brawls up close with a notch bitten out of his dorsal, Lance the crowntail keeps you at spear's length, Peanut the elephant ear throws you across the dohyo, and Cosmo the galaxy koi never lets you get near him at all.
Land hits to build FLARE, then spend it on an ultimate. Tap guard at the exact moment a hit connects to parry and stun your opponent. Repeat a move too often and it stops hurting — mix it up or get read.

On AI: This game was built in collaboration with an AI assistant, which wrote the code, the graphics, the sound synthesis and the written text. There are no image, audio or font files in the project — every graphic is drawn with canvas commands and every sound is synthesized at runtime, so the "AI graphics" and "AI sounds" tags refer to code that draws and synthesizes, not to generated images or recordings. The design decisions and corrections throughout were human-led.
